Ms. Lori A. Arthur is a resident of Newark, New Jersey. She is currently a Global Mobility Application Sales Executive for AT&T. She has repeatedly been successful in providing enterprise application and emerging technology solutions to client companies across diverse industries. Ms. Arthur is expert in developing consultative business relationships and leading sales teams in the pursuit of business. Ms. Arthur had successful 26 year tenure at IBM Corporation, where she served from 1984 through 2010 and held several positions. She began as a Systems Engineer in 1984 and was quickly promoted to Account Client Manager where she managed day-to-day relationships with CXO level clients. As a Senior Sales Specialist, she was selected to sell IBM enterprise infrastructure and services solutions to targeted Fortune 1000 competitive accounts in Northern New Jersey area. In 2000, Ms. Arthur was promoted to Consulting Sales Specialist, the highest sales level within IBM. There she was hand-picked to provide vision, thought leadership, and sales best practice to build out of new Global Systems Integrator Alliance Program. She went on to become a National Sales Manager in 2003, where she managed IBM Mainframe $600M Global Alliances program. In 2006, Ms. Arthur was promoted to the role of Senior Business Development Manager where she was charged with identifying, closing and delivering complex System Z enterprise platform opportunities with Global Alliances partners. After leaving IBM in 2010, Ms. Arthur was employed at Vicom Computer Services, where she served as a Senior Business Development Manager. Ms. Arthur is a graduate of University of Delaware where she earned her BS in Civil Engineering and a graduate of Columbia University where she earned her MBA in Marketing. She received her professional development training in TAM Target Account Selling, CMI Negotiator, Tom Peters: Lessons in Leadership, IBM Top Gun Holden Power Base Selling and Dale Carnegie Professional Training. Ms. Arthur holds a Certification of Achievement-Alliance Management (CA-AM). In addition, she is a member of Association of Strategic Alliance Professional (ASAP) and the National Black MBA Association. Ms. Arthur’s father, Carl V. Arthur, served in the Vietnam War and her uncle, Dale Arthur served in the US Army.
