Doris L. Pearson first professional career started in banking at First Fidelity Bank in 1987, as a Commercial Loan Assistant. Since that time she has worked at various banks throughout New Jersey. To further advance her banking experience, Ms. Pearson completed a six (6) months course in Principal of Banking which she received a certificate of completion in 2000. She also spent six (6) years as an Executive Assistant for the City of Newark. Along with assisting 3 executive directors, Ms. Pearson managed and maintained the office daily day-to-day operations. Ms. Pearson is currently employed at Princeton House Behavioral Health, Princeton, NJ. Since being employed at PHBH, Ms. Pearson, she started out as a Department Secretary and after a short period of time she quickly was promoted to the Office Manager for the PH Adult, Women’s and Teen Girls programs, which she manages 8 support staff at 3 separate locations all within Princeton, NJ. Ms. Pearson has several family members who are veterans and have served in the military past and present. Her father, the late Cornelius Odom, served in World War II, her oldest brother James B. Bell, Jr., served in Vietnam and several nieces and nephews who had committed their lives to the military services. Ms. Pearson is a graduated of Weequahic High School in Newark, NJ, and she attended Fairleigh Dickinson University, Madison, NJ in 1983. Ms. Pearson is presently a member of the Executive Board of Directors at High Park Gardens Cooperative Development in Newark, NJ. Ms. Pearson holds the title of Assistant Treasurer and the chairperson for the Home Beautiful Committee. She is also a member of the New and Transfer and the Security Task Force Committees. Furthermore, Ms. Pearson also served as the secretary for the Frontiers International, Inc. located in Newark, NJ.
